Sawtooth is a Virtual Blackened Deathrash Band based internationally inspired by the likes of Megadeth, Suffocation, Death, Gojira and Toxic Holocaust.I. INTRODUCTIONSawtooth was founded in 2022 by Meep and Notrok over Twitter, after collaborating with a few and landing on Caden Hopkins of Rhythmic Thoughts as the vocalist, we released our first singles, Chromatic Immurment/The Omnicide. Soon after they started development of their debut album, which would release in June 23rd 2024. Releasing unto the world Invocation, a 39 minute album that shown off the ambition of all the members.Meep would take on vocal duties for the EP Prelude to Damnation and soon after became the primary vocalist, now they work on their next project, one that'll make Invocation seem like nothing more than a demo for what's to come......but thats not the whole story.II. STORY
The story of Sawtooth is a simple one, a metalhead lived in a small town by the name of Hethenville, West Virginia, a town that is house to rumors of cults and metal/rock bands alike. We follow Donovan Queen, a guitarist and vocalist looking for something to do other than work their shitty retail job, along comes a girl named Wings Oliver, a drummer who recently has been looking for a place to stay, when both of them got along they decided to make a metal band, they called it Sawtooth.They work day by day, chipping away at a small demo, they call it "The Invocation", a 4 track tape featuring the first 4 tracks of their debut they'd later record. Randomly on day a woman knocks on Donovan's door, her name is Margaret Rosewood, a bassist who's been out of jail for 2 years, and has been seeking something to do. Naturally she shows off her skills and is swooped into the project. Later on they decide to get a fourth member, they look around the city, before finding a homeless man with a guitar, they ask him kindly to play something and what he play's blows them away. Donovan offers to Dale a chance off the streets in exchange for being their lead guitarist... Dale Weller accepts this offer.Not before long they started playing gigs and recording their debut album Invocation. After months of recording and mixing they release it, and are instantly cemented as legends among the death metal community of Hethenville, however with rival bands, managing a band with no label, and a possible underground cult. Hethenville may never be the same...III. CHARACTERS

Favorite Album: Dethklok - Dethalbum IIDonovan started in life as a sheltered kid in a small house in Cleveland, Ohio, a mom with many secrets held from them and a priest for a father, who regularly threatened Donovan with damnation, as well as treating them unfairly due to Donovan's Autism. Their mother however loved Donnie so much, even taking them to a pride parade at 16. However at 18 Donnie's life was toppled into a spiral. Their father murdered their mother while they were away, and was arrested by the police. Donovan became the owner of the house and lived their for a bit. At 19 Donovan was near fatally shot in a mugging, convincing them to sell their house and move to a smaller, one story house in a town named Hethenville. Their life was simple after that, they got a job in retail, and worked while making some demos they'd usually make at home and sell online. Then they met Wings...Wings Oliver

Favorite Album: Deicide - Once Upon the CrossWings began life born into a small family of Jehovah's Witnesses living in Montgomery, Alabama. She didn't care that much about Jehovah growing up. She was usually isolated growing up due to her own problems making her different from her peers, she did not know what being trans was at the time, and was hidden from any information about it, let alone the outside world due to the cult. However she found a love for music, she had a high voice and was fit to be in a choir, later she also picked up drums. She found her passion, slowly but surely she found herself. She got reprimanded a few times by her parents for not acting like any of the boys in her age group. at 18 she had enough of it and left the house after an argument, even with some religious trauma still running through her she still went to meet with others. Eventually she befriended a lesbian woman named Clara. She convinced Wings to break off from the cult, getting a 666 tattoo on her belly, same design as Clara's favorite album "Insineratehymn" by Deicide. She of course is kicked out from Jehovah's Witnesses, leaving her parents behind. Clara and Wings decide to live together, Clara helping Wings with her transition as well.
Wings decides that she wants to head out to somewhere new, still staying in contact with Clara online, she makes a few stops, stopping eventually in Hethenville and meeting Donovan...Margaret Rosewood

Favorite Album: Pantera - Cowboys from HellMargaret had a normal upbringing, her dad tried her best and her mom loved her, they lived in Cincinnati, Ohio. She grew up listening to Motorhead and Pantera with her father and fell in love with it, even learning some riffs on a shitty bass her dad owned, learning how to play right handed basses left handed in the process. However in her teens she met a guy named Joey and he was not a great person, he did his best to shape Margaret into his, she went along with it, her parents never knowing. She grew distant, slowly hating the relationship. Eventually at 18 she was riding in his car when he runs over a man, they both are eventually taken to court, Joey receiving life with no parole for driving under the influence and vehicular manslaughter. Margaret got some charges as well for drug possession. She got 10 years and was sent to a minimal security prison, her parents supported her through out, making sure to let her know they still loved her and were sorry they didn't help. Margaret in turn loved them back, reassuring them she'd get off drugs and improve herself. 10 years later she's out, she picks up bass again and practices everyday. She eventually finds a demo named "The Invocation". She soon found the origin of the tape and joined the band.Dale Weller
